王桂荣

      

王桂荣,男,安徽宿松人,农业昆虫与害虫防治专家。现任中国农业科学院植物保护研究所研究员、博士生导师。国家杰出青年基金获得者,入选中组部“万..计划”领军人才、科技部中青年科技创新领军人才以及国家百千万.人才工程,被授予国家有突出贡献中青年专家。

1996年毕业于安徽师范大学生物系,获得学士学位,1999年和2002年先后在中国农业科学院研究生院获得农业昆虫与害虫防治硕士和博士学位。2002年到2005年先后在中国农业科学院植物保护研究所担任助理研究员和副研究员。2005年到2010年在美国范德比尔特大学工作,先后担任Research Associate和Senior Research Associate。2010年回到中国农业科学院植物保护研究所成立昆虫功能基因组学研究组,担任课题组长,2011年晋升为研究员。目前兼任植物病虫害生物学国家重点实验室副主任、亚太化学生态学会副主席、中国昆虫学会基因组学专业委员会副主任、中国昆虫学会常务理事、中国植物保护学会理事、中国农业生物化学和分子生物学委员会理事以及Scientific Reports、JIA、Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution、昆虫学报等杂志编委。

王桂荣一直从事害虫化学生态学和功能基因组学的研究工作,在害虫嗅觉编码的神经和分子机理研究方面取得重要进展。先后主持国家自然科学基金、转基因重大专项子课题、比尔.盖茨基金项目等,参加了国家自然科学基金创新群体、国家973计划等项目。在Nature、PNAS、Current Biology、Biological Reviews等杂志上发表研究论文100余篇,被引1000多次。获得国家科技进步二等奖1项(9),获得国家发明专利3项。

目前的研究内容包括:昆虫化学感觉的神经和分子机制、植物挥发性次生代谢物的合成调控途径以及农业害虫功能基因组学。
