杨秀玲，女，1984年11月出生，福建福鼎人。现任中国农业科学院植物保护研究所副研究员，硕士生导师，为农业农村部“杰出青年农业科学家”、中国科协“青年人才托举工程”、中国农业科学院科研英才培育工程所级入选者。
2006年获南京农业大学植物保护专业学士学位，2011年获浙江大学植物病理学专业博士学位。2011年7月-2013年7月在浙江大学从事博士后研究，2013年7月-2015年10月在浙江大学从事科学研究工作，先后任助理研究员、副研究员。2015年10月至今引进至中国农业科学院植物保护研究所植物病虫害生物学国家重点实验室植物与病毒互作组工作。
杨秀玲主要从事植物病毒的检测与病毒的致病机理研究，重点以世界范围内危害严重的双生病毒为对象，从植物与病毒互作的角度研究植物对双生病毒的抗性以及双生病毒逃脱植物防御的机制，以期为双生病毒病的防控提供理论基础。先后主持国家自然科学基金等项目7项，并参与了国家自然科学基金重大项目、粮食丰产增收项目、973等项目。发表论文/著作25篇，其中以第一作者/共同第一作者/共同通讯作者在PLoS Pathogens等刊物发表高水平论文/著作12篇。2013年获得全国优秀博士论文提名奖和浙江省优秀博士论文；2014年以第三完成人获教育部自然科学奖一等奖1项；2015年12月入选中国科协首批“青年人才托举工程”项目；2016年12月入选农业农村部“杰出青年农业科学家”；2017年7月入选中国植物病理学会“青年植物病理学家奖”。
