CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
|
| ¡¡¡¡Abstracts
are invited for the 15th International Plant Protection (15th IPPC)
to be held during May 11-16, 2004 in Beijing, China. For those who
are willing to present a paper or poster at the Congress, please submit
an abstract (no more than 250 words) to the Congress Secretariat.

| GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT
PREPARATION: |
1. Abstract should be clearly
presented and be based on unpublished data.
2. Each abstract must be typed directly on the sheet with single space.
3. Typing instruction: MS Word 95 or later edition; Paper size: A4;
Margins: 3.0 cm (top and bottom) and 2.5 cm (left and right); Font:
Times New Roman; Font size: 9 pt. for the entire abstract.
4. The entire abstract includes title, author(s) (underline the presenting
author), address and text.
5. Title should be CAPITALIZED and bold. Latin names of genera and
species should be in italics.
6. Authors should be listed in upper and lower case, with initials
before the surname. Each initial should be followed by a full stop,
but there should be no space between initials. Separate authors¡¯ names
with a comma, except for the last two names in the list, which are
separated by ¡®and¡¯.
7. The address should start in a separate line. Address of presenting
author should contain sufficient information to enable readers to
contact him/her, and the email address of the presenting author should
be included.
8. The body of the abstract should not exceed 250 words. It should
not include subheadings, tables, figures or references.
9. No abstract will be finally accepted for printing without registration
fee.

| METHODS FOR SUBMISSION |
| ¡¡¡¡Scientific
Committee and experts from related areas will select oral presentation
based on your choice. The author will be informed for the acceptance
of such decision and make corresponding preparation. |
| ¡¡¡¡All
Speakers and Authors of Posters are requested to prepare a ONE-PAGE
abstract in English to be submitted via ONE of the following methods
before Deadline January 31, 2004. |

organising committee reserves the right to edit abstracts for spelling,
